Position Title: Production Training Coordinator
Report to: Production Manager
Location: Shekou, China
Department/BU: Production Department
Summary/Overview:
Execute and implement COMPANY'S training and recruitment programs for Production Department personnel.
Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
a. Coordinate and participate in the recruitment process (e.g. screening, interview, selection, and confirm reporting date, etc.) in order to acquire suitable persons for Production Department manning.
b. Conduct post-recruitment follow-up (e.g. probation evaluations) in order to ensure that the company recruits the most suitable talent to satisfy its production demands in a timely manner.
c. Be COMPANY's key contact person with its external training agencies in regard to COMPANY's training programs.
d. Coordinate the audit of selected training vendor's facilities, equipment, PPE and HSE management system in order to ensure smooth HR administration and compliance with relevant government regulations;
e. Coordinate and monitor trainees' programs to ensure COMPANY's goals and objectives are being achieved.
f. Coordinate with various COMPANY Department Managers to conduct induction for new trainees to ensure familiarization with: COMPANY policies; SEMP; HSE standards; COMPANY projects.
g. Coordinate new trainees' offshore trip and fabrication yard exposure;
h. Coordinate and organize all training courses require to comply with regulatory requirement for COMPANY China Production staff
i. Coordinate with HR, Facilities, Procurement and Production team to implement all approved training courses, including OEM training
j. Responsible for the establishment and implementation of Competence Assurance Program to offshore operation personnel to ensure required skills, knowledge and attitude are fulfilled for safe offshore operation.
k. Collate production operation department training needs on General & Technical English language, Management, Technical and Regulatory required;
l. Prepare the annual Work & Budget on Production Departments training and recruitment.
m. Conduct post-training evaluations of training programs and vendors, where necessary recommend appropriate changes.
n. Collect and analyze manpower status, and provide recommendations for recruitment strategy development;
o. Develop a system for the tracking of COMPANY training programs for each individual, particularly in respect of safety training certificates.
Education, Qualifications & Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience on similar training coordination and have the following qualifications:
? Minimum a Diploma/Degree in engineering, science or administration.
? Previous international experience an advantage
Required Competencies/Skills:
? Proficient computer skills.
? Good command of spoken and written English. Ability to speak Mandarin is essential.
? Competencies to include: Planning; Event organization; Presentations; Interview; StrongInterpersonal/Communication skills; Proven Coordination skills.
