Responsibilities:
* Initiate HS policy & procedure implementation at farm, work with farm management team to work out farm HS plan, track & improve the implementation by continuous PDCA(Plan, Do, Check, Act) cycle;
* Lead hazard assessment for the farm, review & update the hazard register, control the actual/potential risk to ALARP(As Low As Reasonably Practical) level;
* Facilitate monthly safety committee meeting, review farm & department HS performance & escalate HS issue to high level;
* Set up HS training plan based on HS gaps of competency, track the training to closure;
* Prepare for regular HS performance report, maintain the integrity of the reporting system and data input/management process;
* Ensure incident reported timely, injury employee received proper care, root causes investigated completely, learning shared with all farm employees, corrective actions set up based on the trend analysis;
* Conduct health assessment for exposure, ensure employee received proper medical check up for pre-employment, during & post employment;
* Manage HS for project work performed in the farm, ensure contractor management procedure followed, HS induction provided, PPE compliance, PTW implemented effectively;
* Set up emergency plan for farm, ensure emergency preparedness and business continuity plans are implemented and routinely tested, post drill critique addressed;
* Coordinate formal audits and support recommendations to ensure they are effectively concluded,
* Coach managers and supervisors to on HS leadership & commitment.
Requirements:
* Relevant qualification in H&S Management or similar.
* Below 5 years work experience and post graduate can be accepted.
* Post graduates should major in H&S with good English competencies.
* Understand local legislations related to HS.
* General understanding the HS system.
* Demonstrable some of the following experiences and have touch in the most of following areas:
1/ H&S policy development
2/ Broad provision of specialist H&S advice
3/ Hazard and risk management
4/ Emergency preparedness
5/ Safety performance analysis and reporting Serious incident investigation
6/ Behavioural auditing
7/ On-job coaching of staff performing diverse functions
* Sound experience of managing change in a manufacturing/industrial environment is preferred.
* Good people managing skill is preferred.
* Fluent English in speaking, reading and writing.
* Can use English as work language.
