Responsibilities
- Developing new sources of business for the Greater China firm through direct and intermediary channels
- In addition to inbound and local opportunities with corporate clients, you will also have responsibilities for generating new business within the fund and/or private client segments
- Building mutually beneficial relationships with a select number of target intermediaries focused on your target segments (e.g. Professional firms such as legal and accounting) .
- Following up and converting new business opportunities;
- Planning and preparing presentations to intermediaries and potential clients
- Client relationship management: regular communications with clients, including client visits;
- Participation in Group sales initiatives;
- Maintaining commercial and pipeline data in the CRM system
- Ensuring Intertrust remains proactive and responsive to prospective clients;
- Collecting competitor intelligence;
- Providing management with market feedback.
Requirements:
1. Bachelor Degree/ diploma holder in business administration/finance/legal or equivalent
2. 5-10 years’ of BD experience
3. Experience working in either Funds or Private Clients/trust sector is preferred
4. Existing network within the fund and/or private client industry
5. Excellent English and Chinese skills
6. Independent, meticulous, pro-active, self-motivated, outspoken, keen to learn, able to adapt in new challenges and with excellent communication skills
7. Be able to travel time to time
8. Willingness to work under pressure.
