EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

• Work with other managers to support organization and mission strategy
• Support site wide product development strategy
• Support local and global development initiatives (DKOM, TechEd, etc)
• Support to build an innovative culture
• Support to identify patentable ideas and fulfill target set out
• Act as site project lead in major project and coordinate with other global sites for high quality release of the Company Business Objects portfolio
• Coordinate with Product Owner to turn requirements into products
• Ensure sound engineering design, process and quality practices are follow
• Monitor technology trends such as emerging standards for new technology opportunities
• Engage in hands-on, in-depth analysis, review and design of the software, including technical review and analysis of source code
• Review and support your local team in project and/or day-to-day challenges
• Provide mentorship and career development advice and guidance to team members
• Coach and mentor team member
• Identify team inefficiency areas and work with team to resolve it
• Support your team to continually grow in the domain expertise assigned
• Learn key values and features of our IDDC products line and SAP products
• Support to drive high customer satisfaction and employee engagement
• Plan, manage skills and provide timely training to team members according to project requirements

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

• Bachelor degree or higher on computer science or related
• 6+ years of software development experience with minimum of 2+ years of people management
• Experience in working with teams from different cultural backgrounds
• Experience on enterprise level development methodologies, processes and related software development fundamentals
• Solid leadership and people management skills
• Strong technical sense and proficiency in architecture and design
• Experience with one of major programming languages (Java, C++, .NET) is a must
• Experience with SaaS/Cloud computing is a plus
• Ability to initiate communications with other departments and drive resolution of development challenges
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence is a plus
• Experience in Agile development is a plus
• Self-motivated and good teamwork spirit.
• Fluent in written and oral English
