Position purpose
The Lincoln Digital Marketing Manager will lead the implementation of Lincoln China digital strategy, online paid media strategy & tactics, and Lincoln China’s web site platform.
Job Description & Qualifications
The Lincoln Digital Marketing Manager will lead the implementation of Lincoln China Digital & Social Media Strategy, online paid media strategy and tactics, and Lincoln China’s web site platform. Additionally, this position will champion the digital strategy for the dealer website ecosystem, assisting in developing brand awareness, generating online traffic and encouraging platform adoption by the dealers. Finally, this role will be responsible for laying the ground work and implementation strategy for all social media platforms that Lincoln China will use to engage consumers and foster a 1:1 relationship with. A key to this role will be leading our key agency partners to deliver this work. This person must have good communication skills and understand how to lead and manage a true partnership.
Position responsibilities
? Establish Lincoln digital strategy and implementation plan.
? Manage and champion our IT, Digital, and social media agency partner teams to deliver impactful digital programs that ignite our key consumer insights and drive the business forward
? Deliver and maintain Lincoln web site, including long-term business plan
? Lead the analytics strategy to insure our platform and programs all have meaningful results that deliver insights we can leverage for future plans
? Establish digital guidelines for Lincoln dealer network
? Lead digital support for brand launch initiatives and cross-vehicle communication efforts
? Develop the digital media strategy for launch, sustainment and always-on/shopper communications
? Champion/implement OLA strategy and creative to coincide with the media strategy
? Manage the strategy and content planning for Lincoln owned platforms as well as paid channels to enhance brand awareness and product launches.
? Support development for cross functional team content including retail marketing, Lincoln customer service, Lincoln financial services
? Work with the Web Site development team to ensure on time Lincoln web site development, and incorporate design and development of a social media platform for Lincoln China internal and external stakeholders
Preferred previous experience
Digital Marketing, IT, Social Media Management, MarComms. Experience in China with luxury brands (auto/non-auto) will be extremely beneficial. Knowledge of auto industry is a plus.
Area of professional exposure (technical skills)
Proven success in digital strategy development and implementation; familiar with web site development process, digital analytical, social media management. Experience in working with cross functional teams locally and internationally.
Functional skills
? Knowledge of web technology
? Strong project management or organizational skills
? In-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and their respective participants (RenRen, Weibo, Youku etc.) and how they can be deployed in different scenarios
? Knowledge of blogging ecosystem
? Ability to effectively communicate information and ideas in written and verbal format, and build and maintain relationships
? Team player, with the confidence to take the lead and guide other departments when necessary
? Good technical understanding and can pick up new tools quickly
? Have a good knowledge of principles web traffic / ad effectiveness analyticals
? With total 6+ years’ working experience, in Digital Marketing
Job specific skills
Ability to manage cross-functional/cross market teams; knowledge of luxury marketplace.
