Education/Experience
Bachelor Degree in related field
3-5 years in a Program Management role delivering technology-related services or products
Open Source experience a plus


Leadership
Leads a cross-functional team responsible for releases with limited deliverables.
Good problem solving skills with experience in identifying and escalating issues. Has the ability to independently resolve common or recurring issues.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team oriented environment with team members dispersed across multiple countries and time zones.
Self-driven and responsible for a single product and project, normally with little instruction or guidance from their direct manager.
Strong communications and people skills


Program Management skills


Excellent organizational skills
Good understanding and application/use of project management methodologies and techniques (Waterfall, Agile, test driven, etc.)
Appropriately selects the correct forum for a meeting, using available tools to conduct effective meetings.


Technical Skills
Demonstrates a good understanding and application of different scheduling methodologies, tools and defect tracking systems.


Process Skills
Applies company processes and procedures effectively and also provides input and suggestions for improvements at product/project level.
Good familiarity with risk and change management
