Job Title : Digital Design Hardware Engineer
Location: Beijing

The successful candidate will be a part of a digital hardware design team responsible for HW design and maintenance of Ericsson Wire line and wireless product portfolio. You will work and interact with senior engineers and experts, other organizations and customers including NPI Design, manufacturing, PLM, Supply and Sourcing, Vendors. You will work on the development of new products to support the current portfolio and the support and resolution of customer and product issues.


Qualifications / Experience Required:
o Around 2 years development experience (design, implementation, and test) of digital hardware for products within a wire line or wireless of high speed product line. Experience in core products development would be a definite asset.
o System knowledge on RAN/Core product system
o Experience in Manufacturing and customer support
o Be able to interact with a large, sometimes remote, multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high quality design and seamless integration
o Have strong communications, interpersonal, and analytic skills
o Prepared to travel
o Fluent in English


Skills and Performance Dimensions / Education:
o B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering
o High speed digital design knowledge with about 2 years’ experience
o Good experience on design for process, memory, clock, etc
o good experience on design for EMC/EMI, SI/PI, DFT/DFM/DFA etc
o Experience with Cadence Concept and Allegro tools
o Experience with PCP level simulation tools (Spice, SpectraQuest etc.)
o Extensive experience in the use of lab equipment such as scopes, logic analyzers, pattern generators, oscilloscope, etc. Good experience on ATM/IP protocol analyzer would be a definite asset
o Experience with programmable logic design and tools would be a definite asset
o Knowledge of WCDMA/LTE theory & operating principles would be a definite asset
o Assembly and C/C++ knowledge would be an asset
