Department Description:

IT@DNV is the internal IT organization of DNV, responsible for delivering a wide range of IT capabilities and capacities to the business areas, corporate units and end users worldwide. The global IT departments constitute more than 200 employees in a growing organization of over 9000 employees worldwide. Service management globally in IT@DNV is following ISO20000 standard and ITIL model.

IT@DNV Global Service Center and Application Service Center with over 30 employees are set in Shanghai. Different kinds of IT services are being provided here for Asian time zone, including Global Service Desk, Deskside support, server maintenance, network support, software approval/scripting, application support, application development and etc.

DNV Greater China has over 900 active computer users allocated in 26 different offices. Around 25% employees in Greater China are international expatriates. Deskside Greater China team is responsible for the end user support for above users especially for the services which local presence is required. Deskside Greater China team has engineer based in Shanghai, Beijing, Dalian, Hong Kong and share the work together.

This position is permanent DNV employee based in DNV Beijing office. We offer chances on training and personal development based on your competence and performance.


Major Duties:

- Handle all local functions where local presence is required.
- Operate as a second line local expert group, receiving and resolving all IT requests and issues from GSD. The support scope mainly covers PC, hardware, printer, local network, etc.
- Purchase/manage software and hardware
- Handle/support local applications, such as local financial, tax system
- Participate in IT related projects per requests, e.g. implement client system upgrade, office moving and etc.


Qualifications:

- Minimum 2 years end user IT support experience is required
- Have relevant computer education with minimum bachelor degree is required
- Have proficiency in English - spoken and written is required
- Be service minded and to show a positive attitude towards end-users
- Work systematic and have good communication skills
- Have the ability to work individually and maintain a high team spirit
- Ability to travel frequently across the Greater China
- Solid troubleshooting skills of computer hardware, printer, local network, Windows 7, Office 2010, smart phone are preferred.
