Position Description:

As a Sales Engineer, you will work in a high performance team environment to drive business development and sales growth by providing technical expertise and product evaluation support to prospective customers and the Company sales team. You will have the opportunity to learn different industries, work with C-level executives to identify current and future customer requirements, and collaborate with a team to determine the best way to solve these problems.

Position Responsibilities:

· Serve as a product expert to the sales team and technical lead on major sales opportunities

· Lead pre-sales activities including discovery, opportunity evaluation, pilot support, and opportunity closure

· Author responses to RFIs and RFPs

· Perform custom product demonstrations outlining both the functional and technical values of the product

· Establish and maintain a deep understanding of Company offerings and the competitive landscape

· Work closely with the prospect’s team on product evaluations and proof of concepts to ensure the solution meets client objectives

· Configure and prepare equipment for customer demonstrations

· Actively participate and consult with virtual teams to further technical projects and initiatives

Position Requirements:

• 5+ years Technical Pre-Sales / Sales Engineering experience
• B.S. degree in an engineering or similar program from an accredited college / university
• Ability to demonstrate technical knowledge and consultative sales skills
• Experience with implementing software products or solutions to enterprise companies
• Familiarity with major mobile device platforms (Android, iOS, Windows Mobile, etc) preferred
• Experience with server configurations (Windows Server, Web Servers (IIS ASP.NET)
• Understanding of web applications and their architecture and design
• Experience with wireless network configuration and troubleshooting
• Efficient in troubleshooting application, device, and network communications
• Ability to work well in a highly dynamic / team environment that focuses on providing above industry standard customer service
• Ability to identify and complete tasks and assignments with limited direction
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including technical sales document creation
• Ability to travel roughly 30-60% domestic and international
