Development/Project Manager
EC Harris' Development and Asset Management Team seeks to fill Development/Project Manager position(s) in China.
Job Description
? Development/ Project Manager for complex mixed use and retail center developments in 1st and 2nd tier cities in China.
? Positions could be based in Shanghai, Beijing, and Guangzhou.
? The candidate will gain experience and exposure across the spectrum of real estate development and management.
? The below responsibilities are comprehensive with scope inclusive of both development and project management capabilities. The exact position level and scope can vary depending on the role filled.
Responsibilities
? Lead/assist in delivering projects and professional assignments in new build or live operating business environments.
? Liaise with stakeholders across multiple levels, including clients, investors, and local authorities. Manage stakeholder and joint venture partnership relationships and expectations.
? Understand and interpret development strategy, including leasing, design, business planning, investment, and marketing strategy to apply to project delivery.
? Assess, communicate, and manage commercial risks and threats.
? Work with client stakeholders and operational team to deliver project solutions that support the operational model.
? Deliver the agreed scope of works within the framework of risk, sustainability and environmental considerations agreed at the client brief stage, while maintaining focus on time, cost and quality.
? Coordinate and manage 3rd party consultants for project considerations such as permits and approvals, design, cost reporting, and timeline.
? Identify and collaborate with team members on new opportunities
Qualifications
? Bilingual English and Mandarin.
? Strong personal presence working with team members to plan and review project activity.
? Strong generalist, entrepreneurial, and self motivated.
? 5+ years project experience preferred.
? China experience preferred, retail experience a plus.
Salary competitive and commensurate with experience and qualifications.
