Main Missions:
? The Technical Sales Manager supports the Sales organization on all technical matters during the acquisition phase, in order to convince customers of our products. The TSM technically supports customers/distributors and operators (MNO's) to successfully integrate, test, optimize and certify the HW/SW concept based on wireless modules and terminals technology during all stages of the application development.
? To ensure the most effective cooperation with the sales organization, the TSM are assigned to the Sales regions (China).
Main responsibilities:
? Technical presentation and pre-sales support at the customer
? Technical training of distributors and customers
? Promotion of the Gemalto Portfolio
? Coordination of technical support and identification of the appropriate support packages for dedicated customers
? Proactive tracking of direct and distributor business by close alignment with the customer partners
? Acceptance, prioritization and management of the correct internal processing of customer requirements
? Identification of Gemalto Unique Selling Points (USP) by means of Competitor Analysis and as a result collection and development of “Selling Against” Arguments
? Trouble shooting (including log analysis, tracing, on-site testing) to establish the root cause of problems found in the field
? Raising failure reports, identification of solution or workaround and if needed internal defect escalation in a structured manner
? Enable customers to develop new wireless applications (e.g. test scripts, application notes, design hints…)
? Coordination of technical communication between the HQ and operator/customer/distributor
Profile:
? Knowledge about GSM protocols and 2G/3G/4G wireless network topology (Roaming, Handover, SMS, UMTS/GPRS, PPP and so on)
? Knowledge of s/w platforms for mobile devices and security
Knowledge of current M2M related standardization as well as GSM market trends (3GPP, LTE, Android and so on)
? Experience in SW/HW testing and technical understanding of Gemalto products
? Sound understanding of the Gemalto processes and organizational structure especially with regards to interfaces to other organizational groups
? More than 3 years of experience in related field
? Excellent communication and presentation skills
? Experience in project management (Time, Risk, Cost management)
? Building and maintaining customer relationship
