职位Position: GA and PR Specialist

Overall Descriptions:

- To assist the ED and Chairs of BPEC, Customs Committee, Communication Committee and GCC on project planning, organization and after event follow up.

- Reporting to: ED and Chairs of BPEC, Customs Committee, Communication Committee and GCC

- Working location: Beijing

Job Description:

- Provide day-to-day support to projects by producing quality deliverables and conducting stakeholder outreach under minimal supervision of project leaders

- Support Committee Chair or vice Chairs to coordinate meetings and events

- Conducting research as well as drafting proposals

- Support in budgeting and spending of committee projects

- Participate actively in internal and outside meetings, offering knowledgeable observations and suggestions; maintains self-awareness and professionalism to ensure contributions are appropriate

- Maintain self-driven passion and actively develop knowledge of committee issues and related industry trends, establish relationships with key opinion leaders, participate in industry networking events and inform team leaders of potential opportunities

- Respond to members and visitors general inquiries

- Support Non-QBPC Events related to above 4 committees’ functions

- Help members to get primary advice on IP related issues from relevant QBPC leaders.

Requirements:

1） 4-year university education with a bachelor degree or higher in English, Business Administration, International Affairs or related fields.

2） 1 - 2 years relevant working experience, previous trade association, agency or consulting experience a plus

3） TEM 4 (CET6) or above, with fluent oral and written English skills; (Working language is English and Mandarin)

4） Excellent communication skills, strong logical thinking ability, good legal analysis skills, and being principle but with creativity and adaptability to resolve complicated issues.

5） Honest, and can be a good team player

6） Capability to use MS office software, especially good skill in PowerPoint , Excel &Word

Salary range: RMB7000-8000 with year on year increase and annual bonus based on performance

About QBPC
The Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) is a Beijing-based trade association representing the interests of more than 200 multinational companies with intellectual property interests in China. It was formed in March, 2000 and registered under the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI). QBPC’s membership consists largely of subsidiaries of companies headquartered in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. QBPC’s Mission Statement is: To work cooperatively with the Chinese central and local governments, local industry, and organizations to make positive contributions to intellectual property protection in the People’s Republic of China. QBPC has grown as a member-led organization with dedicated and professional office servicing its needs. QBPC’s governing body is the “Steering Council” which consists of the voting members of the organization together with those representatives of member companies elected to various leadership positions. As currently structured, QBPC has a Chairman, 6 Vice Chairman and 6 Committees, each with a Committee Chairman and 4 Vice Chairman (the “Executive Team”). In addition, there are 18 Industry Working Groups which act as a forum for members with similar commercial interests to work together on common projects.
Currently QBPC is looking for an Manager to lead a staff team of 8.
