Job Description for the Learning & Transformation Manager of ThyssenKrupp (China) Ltd.


Job Title: Learning & Transformation Manager, ThyssenKrupp (China) Ltd.
Report to: Head of Human Resource & Development, ThyssenKrupp (China) Ltd.

Job Purpose:
Run and optimize the China Regional Learning Center to serve business growth and organization development needs.

Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Set up China Regional Learning Center operation strategy and lead the implementation of such.
2. Serve as center of excellence to guide and consult business managers & HR community to work out learning plan of the operation units.
3. Consult local leadership teams in setting up change management initiatives for their business
4. Adapt China learning activities with global learning and development framework and initiatives. Work closely with Germany HQ learning function to leverage expertise and bandwidth.
5. Develop and deliver learning solutions for China region base on business requirements.
6. Enrich and optimize learning solutions on continuous basis.
7. Facilitate best practice sharing between China business entities related to learning and development
8. Work together with Talent function to integrate learning solution into holistic development approach.
9. Manage learning vendors to ensure deliver quality.
10. Be chairman of ThyssenKrupp China learning community.
11. An individual contributor, able and willing to work without direct subordinate, yet managing and leveraging the country wide HR team resources to achieve result.


Qualifications:
1. Sophisticated learning and organization development knowledge and experience in running a learning center. Business or HR cross functional experience a plus.
2. Comfortable to kick off initiatives independently, ability to drive into result from ambiguity.
3. Hands on, able and willing to work in full range, from strategic down to administrative details.
4. Business savvy, able to handle strategic level conversation with business leaders as a consultative partner.
5. Up to date with state-of-art practice on learning and development area.
6. Stakeholder management ability and strong interpersonal skills. Good presentation skills to interface effectively with senior management executives, AG HR-PED-Learning & Talent, China HR community and external partners / consulting firms.
7. Fluent in written and oral English and Mandarin. Domestic & international travel required approximately 20-30% of the working time.
