Position: ETL Consultant
Job Summary
The ETL Consultant will be responsible for solution design, integration, data sourcing and transformation, database design and development (logical / physical) and tools implementation in data warehousing projects. His/her level of responsibility might vary basing on candidate’s experience/knowledge.
Key Responsibilities
? Interface with Teradata engineering staff as needed to resolve complex technical issues
Specify, demonstrate and scope Teradata solutions that deliver business value to the client / prospect
? Transfer knowledge and expertise to other TERADATA professional services associates
? Provide technical expertise to data warehouse clients that will contribute to innovative business solutions
Work Environment
? Flexible to work in office or customer site and to travel across South China when required
Skills & Attributes
? Able to develop ETL jobs independently by referring to data model and mapping documents
? Able to create ETL Design Documents & Mapping Specification Documents
? Sufficient experience in UNIX/LINUX & Perl Scripting
? Strong database concepts and able to tune SQL queries
Basic Qualifications
? BS degree in CS or equivalent
? Minimum 1 year experience in DW projects
