Position: Membership Service Specialist

Overall Descriptions:

- To assist the ED and Chairs of MSC and IWG corrdinator on project planning, organization and after event follow up.

- Reporting to: ED and Chairs of MSC

- Working location: Beijing

Job Description:

ˉ Administrations support and contact of QBPC Membership Services Committee (MSC) & IWGs

? Support MSC Chairs to carry out Committee projects and follow up with related issues;

? Update QBPC introduction materials annually;

? Assistant Cashier on membership cllection

? Support MSC Chairs to formulate and distribute QBPC Survey to all member companies and draft survey report;

? Support MSC Chairs on new member recruitment and follow up with related issues;

? Support MSC Chairs on engaging inactive members & new members assimilation;

? Communicate with leaders to respond to the general inquiries from members/visitors;

? Contact the members for the identification issue for the law enforcement agencies with the assistance of legal staff

? Collect and update members’ and officials’ contact information into QBPC database and invitation list;

? QBPC leaders business card printing

? Service provider management.

ˉ Support No-QBPC Events related to Membership Service Committee

ˉ Support IWGs’ projects including but not limited to contact with hotel to provide pre-event support; process all the payments and maintain daily update of any event owned by IWGs.

ˉ Logistic support to QBPC Membership Meeting and Anniversary

ˉ Fulfill other tasks assigned by Department leader

Requirements:

1） 4-year university education with a bachelor degree or higher in English, Business Administration, International Affairs or related fields.

2） 2 - 3 years relevant working experience, previous trade association, agency or consulting experience a plus

3） TEM 4 (CET6) or above, with fluent oral and written English skills; (Working language is English and Mandarin)

4） Excellent communication skills, strong logical thinking ability, good legal analysis skills, and being principle but with creativity and adaptability to resolve complicated issues.

5） Honest, and can be a good team player

6） Capability to use MS office software, especially good skill in PowerPoint , Excel &Word

About QBPC
The Quality Brands Protection Committee (QBPC) is a Beijing-based trade association representing the interests of more than 200 multinational companies with intellectual property interests in China. It was formed in March, 2000 and registered under the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (CAEFI). QBPC’s membership consists largely of subsidiaries of companies headquartered in North America, Europe, Asia and Oceania. QBPC’s Mission Statement is: To work cooperatively with the Chinese central and local governments, local industry, and organizations to make positive contributions to intellectual property protection in the People’s Republic of China. QBPC has grown as a member-led organization with dedicated and professional office servicing its needs. QBPC’s governing body is the “Steering Council” which consists of the voting members of the organization together with those representatives of member companies elected to various leadership positions. As currently structured, QBPC has a Chairman, 6 Vice Chairman and 6 Committees, each with a Committee Chairman and 4 Vice Chairman (the “Executive Team”). In addition, there are 18 Industry Working Groups which act as a forum for members with similar commercial interests to work together on common projects.
