Job description

- Mechanical products/projects and suppliers' quality & engineering management.

- Monitor mechanical supplier's quality performance and drive continuous improvement.

- Engineering change management for Mechanical product, include ECed product qualification, tooling and process qualification, tooling cost and lead time management.

- Work together with IBM WW team and supplier on trouble shooting for mechanical quality issue.

- Regular audit and qualification of supplier to make sure their quality management system runs well to guarantee their quality level.

- Work together with Commercial team on alternative/second source selection and qualification.

- Early involved into NPI stage to be proactively review supplier’s manufacturing process and quality control process through FMEA and Fool-proof methodologies to ensure high level product quality in whole life cycle.

- Support Mechanical council on cost saving projects.

- Coordinate with global cross function teams for special project to support IBM business.

Requirements:

- Bachelor or above, more than 5 years working experience in mechanical engineering or manufacturing.

- Strong technical and process skills in mechanical commodity, experienced in sheet metal or plastic products is preferred.

- Be capable of supplier management, project management.

- Good knowledge of quality system, ISO9000 etc.

- Be fluent with oral English, good team worker, excellent at communication.

- Has working experience in computer/server chassis manufactory is preferred.
