Job descriptions:

-5+ year working experience in the building control (consulting engineer, mechanical contractor, product/solution manufacturing company)

-3+ years working experience in marketing management or product management

-Strong building contrrol application know-how, i.e. lighting control, DES system or smart home etc.

-Good knowledge of KNX/EIB technology and system topology

-Solid backround in marketing and Product Management

-Good knowledge of Chinese building control market and competitive landscape

-Good command of Chinese and English language

-Working experience in design institue, system integrator are preferable.


Job responsibilities:

-Definition of the product- / portfolio-strategy for Building Controls in China together with the Segment Head of IC BT CPS SRA China (market & competitor analysis, definition of target markets, definition of target portfolios, competitive strategy, etc).

-Identification and analysis of current product gaps and business opportunities in Building Controls in China.

-Evaluation of options to close portfolio gaps, i.e.
i. adaptation of a global product for the Chinese market (localisation)
ii. local development of a new building control device
iii. partnering with a local company
iv. acquisition of a local company

-Work out business proposals for Controls localization projects in close cooperation with the global product line managers in Germany

-Define the competitive positioning and the marketing mix (4P's) for new Controls but also for existing key products.

-Develop detailed product requirements & product specifications for localized building controls and feed them into development

-Work out all necessary product documentation and marketing material (application sheets, brouchures, selection tools, promotion material) for the localized products.

-Rollout new products to IC BT CPS sales organisations in China (and ev. to other countries).

-Train IC BT CPS Level 3 Product Managers and CPS sales forces in building control products & applications to increase their competency.

-Provide strong and proactive product support to Regin PMs and sales forces.

-Support CPS sales in important account activities.
