Job Description:

1. Work in Spirent N&A Asia-Pacific Sales Development Team with responsibilities for driving pre-sales technical initiatives within existing and future customers.
2. Responsible for sales promotion of security test solutions to meet annual Quota.
3. Develop technical marketing strategy and promotion plan for security test product lines.
4. Execute security testing market analysis and competition analysis.
5. In conjunction with security testing product managers in business units.
6. Extensive travel throughout Asia-Pacific.
Major Responsibilities: (List the essential functions of the job, starting with the most critical)

1. Support sales team as the security technical expert on Mu Dynamics products.
2. Work together on the key account WIN plans and strategies, making sure Spirent meets the accounts' requirements.
3. Find out the customers' requirements in both short term and long term and provide advanced trainings for key customers.
4. Launch new products/solutions to customers joint with Sales and Marketing team.
5. Feedback Asia-Pacific key accounts' requirements to Product Management team and influence N&A Roadmap by constructing solid business cases.
6. Maintain regular and prompt communications to get latest product/solution update to share with Asia-Pacific team.
7. Train direct sales team and distributors' SE and Sales on Spirent security test solutions and provide according sales tools, success stories, etc.

Job Requirement:

1. Candidates should have a Bachelor's degree, with a strong preference for engineering (ideally computer science or computer engineering), with 5 years of post-college experience, with a reasonable portion of that time spent working in areas directly relevant to the responsibilities described above, in strategic and tactical deal execution roles with solidly demonstrated career progression. A Master's degree with at least 3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
2. Strong oral and written communication skills in English; Strong negotiation and communication skill in both English and Mandarin.
3. Outstanding written & verbal communications skills and prior experience working in a similar role for a network or software vendor.
4. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills in a virtual team environment.
5. The role will involve travel within China, and international travel within the Asia-Pacific.
6. Technical Skills:
l Strong technical skills in networking, security, applications and/or protocol design is desired.
l Strong understanding of TCP/IP and IP based applications and protocols.
l Familiar with network security technologies, including firewall, IDS/IPS, DPI, network attack, Endpoint Security, Load Balancer, IPSec VPN, SSLVPN, etc.
l Strong skills in Unix & Linux environments.
l Proficient with basic scripting skills; advanced scripting skills a plus.
l Operational experience with security, application-aware and deep packet inspection technologies.
l Troubleshooting skills for networking and application protocols.
l Proficient in Ethereal/Wireshark or similar tools and understanding packet flows and application messages.
l Familiar with penetration testing and Fuzzing test methodology.
l Network / Security certifications, including CCNA, CCIE, and/or CISSP are a plus.
7. Experience with Test & Measurement market is preferred.
