Essential Responsibilities
• Achieve IOP order target from designated customer accounts and/or regions for Mining Equipment Business and Mining Solution Business in China by winning sales from existing customer base or new customers from designated regions and/or customer base
• Build relationship with new customers at all levels. Identify and quantify opportunities by understanding customers' total expenditure, develop tactical sales plan, communicate GE's product values, develop commercial and technical proposals together with ITO team, and win deals via open bidding or private negotiations.
• Support OTR team to execute orders to achieve business IOP revenue target
• Support Finance team to collect payments to achieve business IOP cash target
• Support China Mining Business Leader to develop strong strategic relationships with key accounts such as Shenhua, China Coal, etc. Support development and executions of MOU's and/or strategic partnership projects with key accounts.
• Strong interface with Product Team and Marketing Team to identify customer needs for new product development (NPI).
• Develop and manage distributors and system integrators / packagers to support the business to achieve IOP order target
• Build relationship with other external organizations such as design institutes, local mining bureaus, EPC, etc to support the business to achieve IOP order target
• Support other product lines of GE Mining or P&L's in other GE businesses to win deals in mining industry
• Provide leadership, coaching and/or support to junior sales team members of GE Mining China even without reporting relationship
Qualifications/Requirements
• Business or technical degree, engineering preferred
• More than 10 years sales experience in underground mining equipment with major mining corporations in China
• Proven commercial leadership track record to drive business growth with significant customer exposure at executive level in underground mining industry
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust
• Mining industry experience in operations, capital project management or EPC
• Fluent in English and Chinese
• Must be willing to travel 50%+
• Willing to be based in the provinces close to the customers. Willing to be home based when GE office is not available
• Demonstrated leadership and success in creating a regional sales strategy and driving rapid implementation

上世纪80年代起,中国进口了首批420台GE运输系统集团制造的ND5柴油内燃机车。2002年,GE运输系统集团在北京成立了通用电气运输系统(中国)有限公司,提供研发、制造和其他服务。2005年,GE运输系统集团与中华人民共和国铁道部签订了300台Evolution系列中国干线机车合同,用于中国各大铁路干线。2008年GE运输系统集团创建了第一个矿用自卸卡车电动马达生产厂,并成立了通用电气运输系统(沈阳)有限公司。2010年9月9日,GE公司与中国南车旗下的戚墅堰机车有限公司成立的合资企业正式开工奠基,在中国开发、制造GE Evolution系列机车柴油发动机并提供服务,以及向其它新兴市场提供出口。2010年12月,GE运输系统集团与中国南车股份有限公司签订了合作框架协议,将在美国建立合资公司来共同促进高速铁路及其他轨道交通技术在美国市场的推广发展。
在过去的6年多内,公司实现了两位数的业务增长,在北京、上海、大同、成都、常州和格尔木等城市设有办公室。
