Business Segment
PW-PGS Power Generation Services
Essential Responsibilities
Will take a leadership role to lead industry internet projects and lead the entire project team
Scope, define & design industry internet solution strategy, architect & offerings; driving end-to-end technical solutions
Engage with customers function team leader, C-suit through consultative engagement approach
Analyze customer needs ,define business requirements & participate in risk analysis
Work with GE different business team on industry internet projects, go to market activities & solutions
Develop technical presentations & proposals, & perform customer presentations
Support, supervise industry internet project implementation, deployment of the solutions
Provide customer needs to SW COE, manage solution development.
Stay abreast of on new technology/technical areas & share information about solution to enable customer competence build
Bringing project management experience to bear to ensure solution is delivered at acceptable risk to GE
Developing and negotiating contract content to ensure the solutions is contracted to deliver client
Building strong links with and working collaboratively with Software COE, GE business groups at china & global to ensure holistic solutions, transition and delivery
Qualifications/Requirements
Core Competences:
To apply for a role as a senior solution manager, you will need to demonstrate 8+ years experience covering the following areas:
• Experience in Information Technology Infrastructure
• Experience in architecting solutions
• Experience in leading solution planning teams
• Experience in IT infrastructure products and offerings including:
• Business Intelligence & Data warehouse
Cloud
SOA
Service Management & ITIL
• Knowledge of virtualized system like KVM, VMWare or Open Stack
• Data Center operation, Communication and Security
• Bachelor or higher Degree , and equivalent work experience.
You will also need to have skills in the following areas:
• Strong project management skills and associated experience in solution selling. Includes experience with industry standard project management methods and tools.
• Excellent client /customer relationship management skills at the executive level
• Extensive client/customer service management skills
• Good people management skills, including basic supervisory responsibilities
• Strong oral , written and presentation skills in English and Chinese
• Ability and credibility to deal with most senior level leadership internally and externally.
