Role Summary/Purpose

This Lead Systems Engineer has responsibility to Verify and Validate X-Ray systems features, functionality, performance, reliability with high product quality. Activities include understand product requirements/specification, traceability. Developing/executing System Verification and Validation test procedures and maintain automatic test equipment, HW/SW tools.

Essential Responsibilities

Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Working with across functions and design team to define, design, and implement the Function, performance and reliability testing of products
• Create Verification/Validation Plan with the impact assessment. Arrange the resource for Verification/Validation activity to meet program schedule. Summary and report the verification and validation activity
• Developing and executing Test Procedures according to product specification
• Working with reliability engineer to define system reliability testing
• Implement automatic testing, introduce new automatic test method, environment, tools
• Maintain testing environment

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Participate in continuous improvement activities by identifying and appropriately escalating process and product quality gaps, providing solutions when possible

Qualifications/Requirements

1. Bachelor degree or above, major in Computer Science and technology, Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or closely related discipline
2. Good & positive attitude is very important
3. Familiar with Linux OS and commands, TCL, Perl script language
4. 3+ years HW/SW design or testing work experience
5. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
6. Team working spirit, serious and responsible work, patience, industrious, beginning ability is strong

Desired Characteristics

1. Aware of medical device industry, X-Ray knowledge and related experience
2. Hospital Workflow or service working knowledge and related experience
3. System reliability or quality analysis experience is preferred
