TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager / IT Consultant with strong technical background especially in the hosting and infrastructure area. The position requires frequent interaction with Sales, end customers, vendors and suppliers, and other cross-functional team members.

Responsibilities:
? Builds and maintains relationships with ITS leaders on the client site, technical team leads, and non-technical key-accounts
? Responsible for successful, on-time delivery of the company and customer’s projects
? Develop work and cost estimates, program priorities, resource requirements, project scope, and objectives.
? Identifies potential risks to the completion of the project, including resources, costs, and systems. Recommends appropriate solutions.
? Informally mentors other team members on structured methodology, best practices
? Is proactive in the identification and resolution of issues that may negatively impact a project or project deliverable; documents/ communicates status and escalates as appropriate
? Encourages collaborative efforts and camaraderie with on–shore and off–shore team members
? Manage customer satisfaction and customer quality requirements and issues
? Mediates and resolves team conflicts
? Mentor and identify training needs for team members, ensuring professional development and superior technical expertise.

Soft Skills:
? Must have
o Ability to develop and deliver a professional and captivation presentation.
o Fluent in English verbal and written communication.
o Ability to communicate clearly and in a timely manner with all customers, partners and internal members.
o Ability to write good technical documentation for e.g. process document, technical guide, operation manual and etc.
o Ability to pro-actively learn new technology, industrial standards and processes.
o Ability to perform systematic and structural analysis (analytical skills) for complex problem and deliver effective solution.
o Ability to build up and maintain good relationship and trust with client, understand customer’s business and needs.

Hard Skills:
? Must have
o Minimum 3-5 years of solid experience in managing, designing and supporting of mid to large scale environment of Windows technologies.
o Familiar with Windows AD, MS Exchange, SCCM, SCOM, MSSQL and etc.
o Minimum 2-3 years of experience in IT project management. Able to lead and manage one or more projects of varying degrees of complexity.
o Familiar with Network technologies and Security; VLAN, WAN, Routing, Firewall, Symantec End-point, Anti-virus, Security policy and etc.
o Familiar with Virtualization product and solution. For e.g. VMWare or HyperV.
o Possesses good knowledge in ITIL framework especially in the areas of Incident management, Change management, Problem management, Business Continuity and Service Level Agreement.

? Good to have (Added advantage)
o Experience in working with Linux or Unix technologies (Red-Hat, Ubuntu, HPUX, AIX)
o Experience in designing and implementing of Server Virtualization and High Availability.
o Strong knowledge in Cloud Computing products and solutions.
o Strong knowledge in Oracle products and solutions.
o Strong knowledge in datacenter operation.

Certification
? Good to have (Added advantage)
o Microsoft MCSA /MCSE/MSC
o Cisco CCNA /CCNP
o CISSP
o ITIL foundation
o PMP



Personal Requirements:
? Bachelor degree
? Minimum 5 years of working experience in IT field and 2 years of experience in IT Project Management.
? IT Consulting or IT Professional Services experience is strongly preferred
? Strong interpersonal and intercultural skills
? Able to manage multiple projects, deadlines and activities and prioritize workload
? To be proactive and excel in a fast-paced environment with excellent problem solving and organizational skills
? Works well under pressure
