Job Description & Qualifications

Major Responsibilities:

The AP BU Program Management Supervisor will work with the AP Sr Program Manager – Imported Products to develop and execute the detailed plan for importing Lincoln and Ford vehicles for the Asia Pacific markets (Primarily China).

Key responsibilities include:

• Work with the Program Manager to develop and execute the China Strategy for importing of Lincoln/Ford vehicles to China and other Asia Pacific markets
• Provide a single point of contact in China to address and resolve any China program development and delivery issues for Lincoln and Ford import programs
• Ensure program deliverables are completed with consistency and on time for all Lincoln China programs (Asia Pacific deliverables)
• Coordinate in-market PD, Marketing, and Finance in support of the Lincoln/Ford import programs.
• Manage all local testing and regulatory requirement reviews (Homologation/Certification Testing).
• Develop and support overall program timing development (VPP) and manage timing plans for Asia Pacific program deliverables
• Develop, maintain and monitor program budgets for Asia Pacific program activities.
• Lead the program milestone approvals in Asia Pacific approval forums
• Supervise the Program Management Analysts working on the Gobi program.

Experience and Background Skills Desired:

The ideal candidate will have:

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Previous direct responsibility and proven experience in: Engineering, Program Management roles in Automotive OEM/component industry
• High business acumen, ability to analyse/present data with recommendation to Sr Management
• Experience/Exposure to China homologation and Regulatory requirement desired
• High energy, self-starter, with ability and desire to take responsibility and deliver results with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work within a very diverse (culturally and functionally) environment.
• High integrity with good attitude and excellent communication skills.

Engineering Degree or Business Degree preferred.
