Main purpose of the job
Drive Brand(s) Tmall China sales and growth
Drive Brand(s) sell-through on Tmall and effectively manage inventory level
Enhance Brand(s) awareness and equity
Coordinate with TP (if needed) and logistic vendor
Create brand community and followers on social media for the Brand(s)
Main responsibility
I. Tmall management
1) Develop and manage Tmall marketing budget
2) Based on sales targets, sell-through performance and market trend, merchandise (width, depth, size run) respective seasonal products, develop product flow, align pricing and product range with Brand(s) China distributor (if the case), and place product orders for ecommerce shop
3) Effectively develop promotion campaigns to manage inventory (in-season and past season products)
4) Provide necessary product information to TP (if needed)
5) Coordinate with the TP (if needed) to maintain user’s interface
6) Work jointly with TP (if needed) to generate and reconcile weekly and/or monthly sales, traffic, marketing budget, inventory and finance performance reports for HQ
7) Work and Brand’s social media and marketing team to effective plan product launch schedules and campaigns
8) Coordinate with TP (if needed) to ensure that products, price, and launch schedule are aligned and that grassroot events and retail activations are captures on Brand(s) owned digital assets (corporate website, wechat, weibo, and others)
9) Work with Full Jet Administration Manager to coordinate prompted and accurate product delivery from the Brand(s) designated factories to TP (if needed) warehouse
II. Manage Social Media marketing and Corporate website
1) Manage social media marketing
2) Develop social media marketing budget
3) Work with creative agency on campaigns and content creation
4) Manage Brand Specialist to manage and implement strategies to drive traffic and awareness
5) Manage Brand Specialist to manage campaigns to keep social media platforms fresh and attractive
6) Manage Brand Specialist to manage corporate website in accordance with brand’s HQ guidelines
Skills and requirement
1) Excellent project management skills: being able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
2) Strong retail business sense and knowledgeable of ecommerce market development in China
3) Solid product knowledge with experience in merchandising
4) Experience managing social media marketing
5) Experienced in developing marketing budgets and sales budget
6) Good understanding of retail business (sell in to sell-through)
7) Experienced in working with marketing and media agencies and TP
8) Good at problem solving
9) Entrepreneurial: able and willing to work in a small size start-up organization where versatility is a must and where one is asked to multitask. Can take initiatives
10) High level of integrity and loyalty
