• Responsible for IT application/infrastructure audits
• Plan and execute audits independently, efficiently and effectively

Job Description

• Assist Audit head and Audit Manager in the delivery of their role and responsibilities.
• Lead Reviewer or member of a team delivering individual audits on time, on budget, to the required standard and provides value to the bank.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of audit programs of selected IT areas according to identified key audit risks and audit objectives.
• Present recommendations with supporting documents to business and audit management.
• Document and keep track of audit workpapers in a timely manner and in accordance with department standards to documents evaluation of systems of internal controls, audit tests, results and conclusions.
• Stay abreast with local regulatory changes and assess their input on audit coverage requirements.
• Draft concise and precise audit reports and conduct audit finding follow-up and verification of issue closure.
• Conduct business audit as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years work experience related to IT auditor/information security/technology risk management.
• Good overall understanding of risk management and controls in relation to IT and business.
• Knowledge of Internet Security and process management of Software Life Cycle.
• Exposure and knowledge in COBIT and auditing software, such as ACL, etc.
• Exposure to various business/operation and information system applications in the financial services industry.
• Exposure to the following Infrastructure technologies is strongly preferred: Bank Data Centre establishment & maintenance, AS400 and Mainframe, Network Infrastructure, Firewall, Unix, Encryption, MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase, Client/Server, Web services/internet/intranet, middleware, CAATS, etc.
• Relevant degrees; professional certifications such as CISA, CISM, CGEIT, CISSP will be advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills, able to determine the root cause of audit findings and recommend constructive and cost-effective solutions.
• Able to establish effective working relationships and influence others.
• Ability to maintain an independent perspective.
• Self-motivated, enthusiastic and takes initiatives.
• Professional, acts with integrity and honesty.
• Able to handle concurrent assignments in a fast-paced environment.
