职位描述

Role Summary
The role of the Assistant Chief Examiner for Customer Service Level 2 and 3 is to support the delivery of the qualifications in China, and help Pearson maintain and ensure standards.

Responsibilities:
1. To participate in the Question Paper Evaluation Committee (QPEC) meeting(s), where necessary.
2. To approve the language of the translated question papers, mark schemes and specification – English to Simplified Chinese, ensuring that they meet the requirements of the assessment criteria as set out in the specification, that the Chinese translation is directly comparable to the English version and that any terms and references are appropriate to the local market.
3. To participate in the recruitment and training of examiners and team leaders.
4. To be responsible for a team of examiners.
5. To monitor marking progress and quality, ensuring 100% mark completion by the required deadline.
6. To report on the performance of examiners after completion of marking.
7. To submit a Chief Examiner Paper Performance Report to the subject team
8. To review examiner performance each series and provide written feedback.
9. To participate in awarding/grading activity for each series.
10. To re-mark work in connection with enquiries about results of an examination.
11. To provide written responses in Chinese as necessary to comments on and queries about the examinations.
12. To collaborate closely with the Pearson Subject Manager (based in the UK) in carrying out all designated responsibilities. All recommendations arising from these responsibilities must be made through the Pearson Subject Manager.

Experience and Qualifications:

Required
1. You will have a degree or equivalent.
2. You will have teaching experience, in the relevant subject area.
3. You will have significant assessment experience in the relevant subject.
4. You will be proficient or fluent in English and Chinese.
5. You will have expertise in Customer Services.
6. You will have experience of managing people.
