Main Purpose:
Reporting to Operations Manager and being responsible for:-
Building a cohesive, professional team to deliver very high levels of service and a consistently high quality and presentation of food and beverage(3 levels including cafe, bar, lounge). Ensuring a clean and hygienic environment and adhering to food safety laws. Achieving all financial targets with strategic planning and monitoring all costs, inventory and takings.

Responsibilities:
· Front Of House and Back Of House management of staff and procedures
· Team and self exceed guest expectations to ensure guests receive immediate attention in a relaxed atmosphere
· Interacting with guests
· Hiring and disciplining all staff
· Ensuring staff have product knowledge in coffee and other beverages
· Overseeing inventory ordering and controls
· Effective staff scheduling to reflect peaks and troughs in business
· Financial and asset management
· Achieve budgets
· Menu costing with chef
· Liaise with all departments in company for effective communication and developing business - marketing, COM3, Finance, HR, Brand Managers, senior management
· Quality control checking - staff presentation, food, environment
· P&L experience
Education:
Degree in hospitality or business
Food Safety Management certification


Work Experience & Skills
· 5 years proven experience in similar role
· Able to demonstrate:-
Proven ability to excel at customer service and manage staff to required standard as this is a KPI for the role
Experience and passion for coffee will be an advantage
· Organisational skills and time efficiency
· Works well under pressure and time constraints
· Knowledge of bar service and products
· Problem solving skills
· Computer skills including excel formatting
· Ability to speak, read and write English
