PCE Engineer
The candidate will take the role of the PCE engineer as the one of key members in Owner capital project management team.
He or she will fill the position of Mechanical engineer in owner's project team during the project FEL, detail design and construction phase. He or she will work closely with project manager/engineer during project execution stage, and report to Dow Engineering Solutions Asia Pacific organization.
? Supervise and coordinate the work of PCE design team to perform PCE and other design activities in order to produce information, specifications, and documentation for the construction and maintenance of process containment equipment.
? Must apply design criteria and practices. In addition, must develop job plans, estimates and staffing needs for the project.
? Apply strong leadership skills and a high level of knowledge of PCE and components, applicable codes, and standards which is required to ensure the most effective design that complies with Safety and Loss Prevention principles and all industry national and local codes and regulations.
? Has the ultimate responsibility for the integrity and completeness of the PCE design for the entire project.
? Has expertise in a particular PCE skill or technology, may serve on Global PCE Technology Resource Network teams
? Ensure that PCE design interacts with all disciplines to minimize disconnects and errors in the design.
? Prepare PCE material specifications for inquiry and order, prepare transmittals, evaluate bids.
? Ensures that environmental regulations and Safety and Loss Prevention Principles are considered in design.
