职位描述
Day to Day Responsibilities:
·Provide in-depth technical support for Corning Advanced Surfaces, Assay, Axygen, Biokits, and Bioprocess
·Act as the technical manager within the region to identify and drive opportunities
·Provide on-site and remote technical support and training to customers
·Provide training to the sales organization and technical services personnel
·Identify new applications for current products and future market needs
·Develop and drive new business efforts
·Close technical/differentiated product sales
Key Decision Areas
· Select key geographic accounts for training, technical support
· Select which technology products to promote at key accounts
· Manage technical opportunities with sales force and customer interface
Criteria for Performance Evaluation
·Closing of technical /differentiated product sales and driving new business
·Meet / Exceed sales budget
·Access to new accounts
·Raising of Corning's technical profile (via seminars, posters, on-site and remote training, publications)
·Ability to develop extensive customer network
·Synergy with sales organization
Reporting Structure:
Direct report to Product support manager.
Education & Experience
·Minimum of Masters Degree in the life sciences
·Ph.D. (or equivalent research experience) in life sciences desired
·Ability to travel 50-80% of time
·High level of proficiency in molecular and cellular biology
·Experience in stem cells, assay development, bioprocess preferred
·Customer-facing experience
·Demonstrated ability to solve complex technical issues
·Multi-lingual (Chinese & English)
·Familiarity with lab equipment/PCs
