职位描述
Sales application specialist-Instrument business will be responsible for Merck Millipore Bioscience instrument selling, including Multiplex & protein detection hardware, flow cytometry instrument, Cell culture platform etc. in assigned accounts/areas.
Responsibilities
Meet & exceed sales target. Sustain existing business base and ability to create new business opportunities for incremental sales growth
Manage wet demo activities together with Product Application Specialist for potential customers to accelerate the fulfillment of sales prospects.
Manage, train & support distributors/dealers to increase penetration/coverage and market share for Merck Millipore Flow Cytometry, novel protein detection instrument & Multiplexed protein expression profiling equipment, CellAsic cell culture lan-on-chip etc..
Collect, update and analyze market information, identify customer needs and new application potentials. Monitor competitor activities and ensure a proper documentation and tracking via salesforce.com.
Communicate current and future project activity with report manager as well as the headquarters marketing team for technical and sourcing support.
Establish & maintain key accounts relationship, support marketing activities to achieve good mind share & brand preference.
Requirements/Qualification
Bachelor degree or above with a biological-based science, Master degree with immune-biology background is preferred.
Having at least 2 years experience for Instrument sales in a Life Sciences Company can be preferred.
Capability of delivering effective technical presentations to scientific researchers.
Good knowledge and professional demonstration for Flow Cytometry & Multiplexed protein expression profiling equipment is preferred.
Excellent market knowledge of the territory, understanding of business opportunities and capability to have the business plan developed and implemented.
Strong business, organization, negotiation, communication, and selling skills.
Good interpersonal communication skills and presentation skills.
Initiative, self-motivated and good team player.
Good execution, integrity, teamwork are definitely required.
Good English capability.
Willing to have travel up to 50% frequency.
