Subordinate: Purchasing/material scheduling/Inventory management/logistics

Job objectives:
The objective is to act as head of the supply chain team at SEEPEX Shanghai to ensure a stable Supply Chain for SPS in line with global SEEPEX Strategy.
This includes purchasing of parts/components according to requirements (costs, quality, time), supplier development, process optimization, efficient logistics, scheduling strategy and planning methodology.
Support substantially the realization of customer satisfaction and the achievement of sales targets/margins.

Job tasks in detail:
? Be responsible for and Manage employees and teams in purchasing, logistics, material scheduling at SEEPEX Shanghai.
? Supervise, direct and motivate the whole supply chain team.
? Optimize processes and methods in a continuous way to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the team.
? Responsible to meet company goals like cost reduction, localization rate, purchasing lead time, logistics efficiency, material planning and related targets.
? Focus on purchasing cost and searching continuously for cost reduction opportunities, without decreasing quality level in order to reach company’s cost reduction goals.
? Search, develop and qualify suppliers with support from quality/technical/controlling team.
? Coach and monitor the suppliers’ performance on lead time, quality improvement and service.
? Control stocks content and volume. Develop ideas to optimize availability against stock level continuously.
? Control and optimization of freight costs inbound and outbound.
? Coordinate and control of customs clearing for import and export.
? Support HQ and sister company in Chinese local sourcing projects on a daily basis. Take care for the operational handling of these projects.
? Work close together with internal departments (sales, production, QA, controlling etc.) as well as external parties (supplier, HQ, sister companies) and adapt processes quickly on changing requirements.
? Prepare budget for labour and material resources and control the development and achievement of the goals.
? Identify and execute staff development plans.
? Other tasks assigned by the management.

Requirements:
? University in mechanical engineering degree, Bachelor, master
? At least 10 years work experience in supply chain and 5 years’ in management position
? Has driver license
? Good English skill, German will be a plus.
? Pump related purchasing background preferred
? Experience with machining, casting, welding desired
