职位描述
The Product Strategy Manager will be responsible for the marketing input into a variety of strategic studies and initiatives. Depending on project, this can also include delivering forward model marketing deliverables for a given product and coordinating all marketing deliverables. This includes both regionally assembled and Europe or FNA sourced BU product programs. Specific responsibilities include:
· Lead the marketing input into strategic studies and initiatives. Be the lead AP Marketing representative, representing the voice of AP markets.
· Work with Research, Revenue, Upstream Customer Service & markets' brand teams and use established Voice of the Customer principles and processes to develop vehicle line inputs and key deliverables as below :
· Strategic intent of products within the market (country)'s brand/product portfolio.
· Nameplate Brand Positioning: Target customers, Product Benefits, Personality/Image, Pricing Strategy.
· Brand Profiler, and integration of market brand strategy into vehicle line product assumptions.
· Identification and implementation of new AP market product requirements
· Detailed order guide with feature mixes by market.
· Future vehicle product needs and customer requirements, including use of Ford Global research tools.
· Market equation development, including market commitments to appropriate volume and revenue.
· Integration of market brand strategy (both Primary and vehicle line brands) into Vehicle Line product assumptions.
· Lead in obtaining consensus in MS&S before representing in forums external to AP Marketing
· Work with JV partners while developing inputs into strategic studies/initiatives.
· Proactively support ongoing profit improvement and complexity reduction efforts.
· Identify Marketing Sales & Service process improvements and best practices.
· Lead or support special market studies (HPS, APR, etc.) from time to time as appropriate.
Qualifications:
· A marketing or business degree.
· 8 to 10 years’ experience in Marketing, preferably within Brand, Communications, or Product Marketing Teams.
· Knowledge of AP markets, and Ford's product and brand requirements in these markets.
· Ability to champion Marketing Sales and Service issues within the program team environment.
· Ability to think strategically and interface with multiple stakeholders at a strategic level
· Ability to effectively communicate key Marketing deliverables to senior Company management
· Understanding of GPDS including Marketing Deliverables and Consumer/Advanced Product Research.
· Must have excellent analytical and presentation skills (oral and written) and demonstrate ability to operate at a strategic (high) level, while retaining attention to detail.
· Must be a good team player, enthusiastic and flexible to drive x-functional problem solving.
· Excellent communication skills in English language (oral and written).
· Be a self-starter and have the ability to take responsibility for key program/study 'milestones' with minimal supervision.
· Ability to work within a diverse environment (culturally, functionally & geographically).
· Ability to travel as required.
