Position purpose
To support the retail marketing daily communication/on-site visit with delaers; To co-lead the process of the Lincoln China VM strategy delivery & dealer incentive claim process
Job Description & Qualifications
· The Retail Marketing Specialist's primary responsibility is to develop and execute the Quarterly and annual FM/VM & Pricing proposals to grow volume & revenue and maximize profits.
· The Retail Marketing Specialist is responsible for leading the process of reviewing the competitive pricing & incentive policy and support the internal discussion for the VM strategy quarterly/monthly.
· The Retail Marketing Specialist is a marketing point contact with Lincoln Finance Service to ensure the C&I strategy, essentially on the financing policy, including warranty in after-market.
Position responsibilities
?Have understanding of the overall automotive industry and the way vehicles are retailed through dealerships, with variable marketing & pricing actions, as well as advertisement communication
?Develop with supervisor on Variable Marketing Strategy and execution to support launch pricing strategy development, regional variable marketing actions, and annual pricing / variable marketing planning
?Develop with supervisor on processes of managing Variable Marketing budgets and internal approvals.
oDevelopment of VM budgets by Vehicle Line/by Quarter/by Market
oRefine VM processes to deliver consistent data & formats
oStreamline VM process to allow discussions to focus on retail execution
?Lead development of After-service Communication Strategy and conduct yearly/quarterly service campaign
oDealer level after-service communication strategy
oAfter-service POSM development (ESB materials/ads, etc.)
?Main Interface with nationwide Dealers on quarterly incentive plan as well as field operation.
?Obtain feedback from dealers/field operation on marketing plan and sales performance to provide guideline & recommendation to support sales target achievement quarterly/monthly.
?Collect feedback and work with agency to have quarterly/monthly report on competitive pricing & incentive review as well as VM spending/Industry trend.
?Leverage national/regional resource to better deliver brand showroom strategy
?Interact with Communications Team (Brand, CRM, Digital) and Sales team to align objective and retail plan
oSupport Communications team by ensuring key messaging is supported at the market level
oLiaison between Communications team & markets to help develop/deliver appropriate messages which improve Lincoln’s brand metrics
?Integrate with the broader organization – such as Global Marketing, Asia Pacific Finance and Retail Marketing, Lincoln China Communications, Finance, and After-service to maximize our execution at Retail.
?Have basic understanding of evaluating proposals from dealers on advertisement communication and event activities, to better demonstrate retail activities in brand communication
?Work on optimizing national and regional dealer marketing program process and guideline
?Support Retail Marketing initiatives & projects on ad hoc basis.
