Location: Guangzhou (广州)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Customer Management:
? Develop and manage a portfolio of customers and potential customers via personal sales visits
? Build a strong client relationship to maximize potential of the accounts, reduce attrition rate and minimize opportunities for competitors
? Act as customers’ main point of contact by liaising closely with the relevant departments within DHL eCommerce
? Continually develop knowledge of DHL’s products/services and general commercial awareness to provide the best solutions for customers.
? Convert qualified leads into customers as well as develop and penetrate existing accounts.
? Develop an annual customer call cycle to secure committed orders with new and existing customers.
? Stay regularly in touch with key customers to gain real understanding of their concerns and business needs

Stakeholder Management:
? Produce information for management necessary to evaluate performance vs. KPIs
? Meet regularly with the Marketing and Sales management to evaluate the personal sales plan/strategy.
? Develop a working relationship with the relevant support departments
? Ensure customer agreements are cost sensitive to ensure a suggested minimum pricing tariff is set and adhered to.

Reporting and Documentation:
? Adhere to regional standard profit margins and discount guidelines, sales processes & systems adoption.
? Complete sales reporting requirements in a timely manner, which includes activities reporting, customer information and pipeline maintenance through salesforce.com
? Control all documentation and data relating to customer visits, agreements and terms of reference
? Analyse and monitor customer data to measure success and identify fluctuations/trends to decide on relevant actions to be taken.
? Formulate a personal sales plan that incorporates initiatives for identifying and gaining new business prospects as well as maximizing growth within the existing customer base.

Desired Skills / Qualifications:
? Minimum 3 years sales experience in sales and marketing preferably in the transportation or service industry.
? Experience with 50% to 70% of sales time spent in new customer acquisition.
? Excellent negotiation, communication and presentation skills
? Excellent interpersonal skills
? Self-motivated
? Ability to work in a team
? Passion for Customer Service
? 1 year experience in eCommerce related fields will be advantageous

Minimum Educational Qualification:
? Bachelor Degree in Business or related discipline
? Candidates with MBA will have an advantage
