Job Description

JOB PURPOSE:
Drive business and organizational processes to achieve the business objectives and delivery of agreed financial targets with managing Goal Zero target in HSSE. Through energised leadership of the JV, ensure volume growth, network expansion and operational excellence in order to maximise profitability whilst growing market share.


PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Provide frontline leadership to the JV leadership team.
• Develop Retail plans for the market, including building the T&R and developing operational plans to deliver identified targets. Accountable to the Board for delivering JV business/financial results (Network expansion, sales volume, margin, operating costs and NIAT targets)
• Being a strong and resolute local leader in the JV, to a skilled negotiator with the local partner team, be responsible for fostering a collaborative relationship to deliver business result.
• Implement agreed engagement plan to establish and maintain relationships with government authorities and other external stakeholders to enable growth and business operations in the local market.
• Develop and implement retail network development strategy according to growth plan so as to achieve new site acquisition target.
• Ensure the implementation of the sales & operation standards, policies and procedures.
• Delivery of RCVP as agreed to customers.
• Work with Supply to ensure reliable, low cost fuels supply following S&OP process
• Implement HSSE policy and ensure its compliances at all levels.
• Manage and develop the JV’s human resources, consistently enhancing staff’s competence, to create an environment of attracting, retaining and developing talents so as to contribute to the growth of the business.
• Regularly review risks and business control within the JV.
• Manage the Shell brand within all JV activities

Requirements

JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:


 Bachelor Degree or above, MBA preferred
 At least ten years’ experience in Retail business, with 5 years people management and solid P&L management experience. Candidates with Retail Sales and Operations or Network Development Experience preferred.
 Good knowledge in fuels/energy industry.
 Strong Communication, Influencing and Negotiation skills
 Creative, and be able work under pressure
 Good command of English
