职位描述
The candidate is an individual contributor who hunts for new customers and market opportunities in the large enterprises, major APP/OTT players, and non-traditional mobile service providers in the APAC region. The candidate will also support and grow existing accounts within an established geographic territory. The focus industry segments will start with large enterprises in the financial, retail, travel and advertising industries, OTT powerhouse in Search, Social, ISP and SAS companies who deliver either content or social connectivity.
The candidate should be seasoned, experienced professionals with a complete knowledge of the enterprises and OTT market in the region. The candidate will work closely with all Syniverse sales support and technical fun
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Actions to ensure sales contracts deliver product alignment, technical feasibility, and strategic business benefits.
New account development and existing customer growth and retention through strategic selling skills:
l Increase sales revenue, customer footprint, segment footprint and profit growth for the region with a focus on building new markets, along with selling existing and new products.
l Hunt new customers and market opportunities in the Enterprise and OTT market segments that are of strategic or tactical importance to Syniverse's long term successes.
l Deliver sales presentations, negotiate and close large deals.
l Engage appropriate resources to build compelling value propositions.
l Build relationships with customers that support, renew and further penetrate existing accounts.
l Proactively engage various teams within Syniverse to ensure appropriate levels of direct customer support.
l Establish, develop, strengthen and maintain relationships with internal and external contacts at all levels.
l Develop market analyses to determine customer needs, price schedules, and discount rates.
l Participate in the development of strategic customer planning sessions and reviews to ensure organizational alignment with customer needs and desires.
l Consistently maintain a robust sales pipeline that supports and exceeds revenue forecasts.
l Generate new ideas for service and product opportunities.
l Attend industry events to network with relevant stakeholders, gain industry insight and represent Syniverse in the marketplace.
Perform reporting and administrative activities:
l Analyze and control expenses to conform to accounting requirements and budgetary constraints.
l Prepare reports of sales volume, potential sales, and areas of proposed client base expansion.
l Constantly monitor the industry trend and our competitors to ensure we are always ahead of our competitors
l Maintain accuracy of online systems designed to report status and progress; i.e., Salesforce.com, etc.
Job Requirements:
l Minimum 8 years of experience in solutions and services sales, including current experience, hunting/prospecting/new account development within the geographic area
l A Bachelor's degree in Digital Entertainment (or equivalent job-related experience). A MBA degree is not required but a big plus
l Hands on working experience with top Global OTT players or major international Enterprises is a big plus
l Candidate must be self motivated and self sufficient to take on the job responsibilities with just some directional guidance
l A proven track record of developing sales for new products in new markets
l Fluent in English and at least one Asian Language (Mandarin is preferred)
l Must be action- and results-oriented, a team player, and adaptable
l Must have business savvy, strong negotiation skills, and ability to close large deals
l Ability to solve practical problems involving a wide range of variables in creative ways
l Knowledge of spreadsheet software and sales-related software
