IBM Analytics Group team is seeking for a Senior Sales Specialist responsible for developing and closing IoT(Internet of Things) business in GCG focus on Automotive, Aerospace and Defense. The current products are Rational Continues Engineering include DOORS, Rhapsody, RELM, RDM, etc. More products will be included in the near future together with IoT Unit’s fast transformation.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- be responsible be responsible for selling IBM Rational CE solution within the territory and achieve Revenue target

- be responsible for the Territory Plan, Key Account Plan, Marketing and Eco-system, etc to achieve the budget

- manage and progress the opportunities within above territory to achieve target by quarterly basis.

- Drive business in conjunction with IBM align team, solutions engineers and business partners.

- map and maintain relationships at all levels within the coverage accounts – CxO, IT,R&D Managers, partners and other key decision makers and influencers.

- Implement sales strategy to drive revenue across Rational solution

- Execute solution selling to existing customer base and new prospects.

Requirements:

- Bachelor degree or equivalent, Computer Science, E&E is preferred

- Minimum 10 years IT industry background. Minimum 5 years of experience in software sales is preferred

- Familiar with software engineering, System engineering

- Experience in selling software/system engineering solutions or software solutions highly desirable.

- Self-starter with excellent written and verbal communication skills including the ability to effectively present to both technical and executive audiences.

- Proven ability to build relationships and effectively sell to senior executives and CxOs

- Strong prospecting, presentation, communication and writing skills

- Strong time management skills and results orientation

- Excellent interpersonal skills

- Adept in managing many opportunities simultaneously.

- Ability to articulate complex technical ideas

- Skilled in thinking strategically and tactically.

- Accountability, Good communication skills in English and Chinese and Positive thinking.

- High passion on new solution areas and good at solution selling.

Required
