Major Responsibility:

As a CAD designer, you will responsible for your led luminaire design and validation to achieve the project’s targets in term of Marketing specification, lighting standards, and R&D guidelines and successful introduction into mass production.

You will

- Sketch drafts and create 3D models of first concepts

- Create 2D drawings in line with group standards, tolerances integration and functional dimensioning

- Draw wiring diagram

- Revise existing drawings and processing engineering change requests

You will have to take into account all design constraints to design the right product:

- IP protection, IK resistance

- Thermal management

- Led engine integration and driver + wiring

- Lighting standards for mainly safety purpose

- Full range of variants in term of electric control and accessories

- Aesthetic design

You will participate to design review and DFMEA in order to design the best product in close collaboration with Technical Project Leader.

You will assemble prototypes and firsts samples to check the quality of your concept. You will support the factory to train mounting line operators.

As a CAD supervisor, you will support CAD engineers

• To deploy group CAD standards and train and support CAD designers
• To manage and archive drawings, and all other files for sharing with sales force

Requirements:

Qualifications:

- Bachelor or above, major in mechanical engineering or equivalent.

Experience:

- Must have min 3 years’ experience working in a similar position

- Must have min 2 years’ experience working in international company

- Must have proven past experience with Industrialization/NPI of led lighting

- Experience using CREO/ Pro-E software + Windchill

Professional/ Specific Skills (management, technical, etc):

- Expert knowledge of CREO Parametric 2.0

- Expert knowledge of Windchill PDMLink 10.1

- Must have a mechanical background in aluminium casting, machining, plastic injection, bending

- Led lighting knowledge would be preferable

- Knowledge about CCC, CQC, CE standards for lighting industry
