Job Title: Consultant (including Senior Consultant & Principle Consultant)

Streams & Location: Lloyd's Register Consulting, Beijing & Shanghai





Major Duties and Responsibilities:

The Principal/Senior Consultant will work in a cross functional consulting team involved in project delivery, project management and customer services, supporting clients primarily in shipyard/offshore unit owner and secondarily in the local offshore & onshore Oil, Gas and Process industry. This position will include a large variety of projects and offers great opportunities for personal and professional career development.


Primary Qualifications:
- Ability to work positively and effectively both as individual and team
- Highly committed to project delivery and management
- Ability to express technical solutions effectively and resolve contentious issues
- Eager to learn and develop yourself
- Having a high degree of adaptability and flexibility


Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.S.E.) from four-year University and above
- Experience in the offshore & onshore Oil, Gas and Process industry and/or Maritime industry
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in HSE/risk engineering
- Close relationship with oil & gas companies will be a plus
- FMEA knowledge will be a plus


Language skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills in Mandarin and English


Other qualifications
- Occasional domestic & International travel required
