Job Purpose

Develop and communicate resource plans (master scheduling), control lead times and ensure effective use of capacities and assets, so as to achieve customer satisfaction.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

1. Schedule customer orders to meet required lead times, and take action to minimize unplanned demand changes;
2. Develop rough cut and detailed capacity plans to assure appropriate plant resource;
3. Develop forecasts at appropriate levels (site/product) of detail to ensure available capacities;
4. Ensure the effective utilization of plant capacities, inventory, and distribution capacities;
5. Exchange information on changes in plan with related departments and members;
6. Investigate and implement corrective action to manufacturing concerns relating to Bills of Materials (BOMs), routings, or print errors;
7. Evaluate supplier base to ensure lead time and on-time delivery compliance with all Haworth standards;
8. Evaluate and process CCN;
9. Investigate and establish cost savings/reductions according to business plan;
10. Support order fulfillment process improvements.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

1. College degree;
2. Minimum 3 years’ experience in Planning or Logistics Materials related field in manufacturing company;
3. Knowledge/ability to utilise Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP)/Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems;
