POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for Visual Designers with the right aptitude and attitude. In this role you will be a key player in determining the future of Blackboard’s products. We are looking for designers who can break new ground in creating educational platforms, primarily in a mobile and tablet platform, and help sustain our existing educational tools. You will take an active, hands-on role in exploring and producing stunning visual design solutions, and working with business owners and technologists to implement designs. Qualified candidates will share our belief that design is as much about behavior and emotion as it is about utility and ease of use.

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
？Core Required Skills/Experience
？You are a design geek with knowledge, skills, and imagination that spark new ways of thinking.
？4+ years of experience with visual design across multiple platforms, brands, and environments
？In-depth knowledge of visual design disciplines and principles, and power user of the industry-standard tool Adobe Photoshop
？Strong collaboration skills and ability to receive and incorporate critique from peers as well as stakeholders
？The ability to take creative direction from overseas directors
？An outstanding portfolio and body of work demonstrating at least two robust visual design solutions, including one for mobile.
？Demonstrate an exceptional eye for detail.
Proven ability to handle at least two design projects at different stages of delivery at the same time without sacrificing quality.
