Job Summary / Job Purpose

Be primary responsible of audit activities within SG China Limited, raising practical recommendations independently and objectively for the adequacy and effectiveness of the control infrastructure to Head of Audit China, maintaining active communication between Head of Audit China and management of SG China, supporting Head of Audit SG China to control the internal auditing quality.


Main Responsibilities /Accountabilities / Tasks
? In compliance with the standardized audit methodology of SG China, take effect into the annual risk assessment for SG China.
? According to the risk assessment results, prepare the annual audit plan, and assist Head of Audit China to initiate annual audit plan of SG China.
? Planning and execution of internal audit missions.
? Reporting the findings during the internal audit missions to Head of Audit China, and ultimately to Audit Committee of SG China, and propose the practical recommendations to the finding issues.
? Coordination and communication with the other departments, keep continuous monitoring over business development and risk evolution.
? Assume prime responsibility for the diligent follow up of audit recommendation raised with the business.
? Provide necessary information in respect of Internal Audit to assist SG China Management to answer regulators' enquiries.
? Manage and implementation of special investigations, when being delegated.
? Give on-job training and manage performance of the supporting internal auditors in each of the mission.
? Other ad hoc tasks / relevant responsibilities as assigned by the management.

Candidate Profile
Academic Background
(degree and major) Bachelor degree or above, with a major of Accounting, Auditing or Economics
Working Experience /
Technical Skills & Know how 8-10 years relevant experience in financial institution or accounting firm with at least one year experience in internal audit function.
Skills & Competencies ? Good knowledge of banking industry and financial products
? Working knowledge of risk based auditing within accounting and banking industry
? Good communication, presentation and report writing skills
? Fluent in verbal and written English
? Positive attitude and able to work with all level of staff
Language Skills Fluent in English and Mandarin
Computer Skill Proficient in Windows Application e.g., Word, Excel etc.
Professional Qualification
(if applicable) old professional qualification in audit or accounting that is recognized in the PRC or internationally (or has passed the PRC or internationally recognized professional audit and accounting qualification exams);
