Corporate Division Legal Affair & Compliance

Key Responsibility

• Compliance Framework and Strategies: Contributes to the development of compliance framework and strategies for the company (esp. from process and IT perspective)
  
• Development and Execution of Compliance Processes and IT Systems: Provides leadership and expertise with respect to process/IT related compliance risk management, including without limitation designs, develops, and rolls out support systems that enable compliance programs of the company; analyzes and designs processes and risk mitigation IT solutions with business stakeholders for tackling identified compliance problems; and collaborates with key stakeholders to communicate compliance initiatives and approaches.
  
• Compliance Committee Office: Support the line manager and the VP Legal Department in performing responsibilities of the compliance committee office of the company, including but not limited to:
  
  
  
  - acts as the contact for compliance inquiries/notifications;
  
  
  
  - follows up decisions made and tasks assigned by the compliance committee meetings;
  
  
  
  - reviews compliance related policies and internal guidelines of the company, makes recommendations regarding necessary amendments thereto, and formulates new policies and internal guidelines based on change and/or development of the relevant laws, legal/administrative regulations, regulatory provisions and industrial rules;
  
  
  
  - develops methodologies, tools and programs for the identification , assessment, treatment, control and monitoring of overall compliance risks of the company;
  
  
  
  - assists relevant departments of the company in handling compliance-related risks and crisis (e.g. investigations by administrative authorities), offers support in analyzing causes for compliance risks and crisis, and in connection therewith, makes recommendations to and/or requiring corrective/improvement measures from relevant departments of the company;
  
  
  
  - takes such other actions that are required to support the performance of the compliance committee's responsibilities.
  
  
  
  -supports convening compliance committee meetings and making meeting minutes.
  
  
  
  
  
  
• Compliance Investigation: Takes part in internal investigations of potential cases of , especially with respect to identification and development of sources of information relative to the subject of the investigation, as well as analysis and verification of evidence from technical perspective. Coordinates with other functions such as HR, audit, and line management as necessary.
  
  
  
• Trainings: Provides internal (or external to business partners) compliance trainings on various legal and compliance topics.
  
  
  
• Others:
  - Performs special projects, as needed, to support compliance, corporate governance/legal initiatives;
  
  
  
  - Assists line manager and the VP Legal Department in annual budget preparation and costs analysis;
  
  
  
  - Engages, directs and controls the work of external consultants;
  
  
  
  - Performs other work assigned by line manager and the VP Legal Department.

Qualification

• Bachelor's degree or above majored in law, accounting/finance, economics, enterprise management, computer science or related information technology
  
• Excellent motivational, interpersonal, oral / written presentation, negotiation and communication skills.
  
• Familiar with Microsoft tools (especially PowerPoint and Excel), SAP, IT infrastructure
  
• Word processing skills
  
• Enjoy fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  
• Excellent language skills in English (written and oral).
  
• Strong personality
  
• A least five years working experience in a multinational company/international business consulting firm.
  
• Experience with compliance or project management required; additional experiences with information security/privacy, forensic audit, business consulting a plus.
