职位描述
(1)工作职责Responsibility:
Providing recommendations and support decisions for competitive pricing strategies, product mix, timeline, cost impact to improve profitability. This will include the development of recommendations for the pricing of products for as well as ensuring margin management to meet quarterly targets.
Daily responsibilities
Analyze component cost trends information to support price decisions
Drive effective competitive price setting with sales team
Work with Segment Finance and Sales Team to ensure RR margin is effectively managed
Monitor and identify deals with margin threats and suggest corrective action
Engage in bids analysis to support deals within the guidelines of meeting revenue and margin targets for the supported region/country
Support sales group(s) regarding pricing inquiries and issues
Collaborate with various functional areas (including Sales, Marketing and Finance) to provide recommendations for RR and deal pricing
Analysis
Financial and Margin analysis to drive effective deal justification and documentation
Perform monthly analysis of transactional level data to identify price/margin erosion and assist sales and product management teams in constructing and implementing solutions
Perform margin and pricing analysis to support key business initiatives as required
Analyze market dynamics (competitive status), pricing trends, market opportunities, operating and sales margins in order to develop reports, procedures and tools for pricing and quoting
Governance
Audit for exceptions, i.e. non-compliance, above materiality threshold
Working closely with HR/ SA leaders to set right behavior
Set RR margin governance
Incorporate cost movements into DAM
(2)职位要求Qualification:
1. Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or equivalent experience on related field
2. Minimum 7 years’ experience in Finance/ Marketing with MNC, preferably in the high tech/IT industry
3. Prefer experience dealing with regional offices in sales, marketing, finance, management reporting, pricing, or product costing
4. Must be able to work independently and as part of team, and have sound business acumen, above average skill in MS Excel and Access, flair with numbers, and good negotiation skills
5. High level of proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications; in particular Excel
6. Fair understanding of Dell operations, products, and business model
