职位描述
Job Title : Career Development Manager
Country : North Asia Operating Group
Reports to (title) :Vice President Human Resources
Scope :North Asia including Greater China, Japan and Korea
Basic Function
Assume active role as a Change Advocate and assist HR Heads in the identification, development and retention of Designated Successors and High-Potentials in the operating group to ensure the bench strength and continuous supply of high potential talent pool to meet leadership succession planning requirement and for business continuity and ongoing expansion.
Duties & Responsibilities
1) Identify Sourcing Tracks
? Career Development Manager identifies sourcing tracks by business so that future managerial talents can be identified at an early stage
? Shapes external sourcing according to the sourcing tracks identified
2) Manage the Managerial Talent Pool
? Career Development Manager leads the identification, review and succession planning of managerial talents and ensure the best in class assessment tools to determine talent’s potential
? Ensures adequate development is given to managerial talents through development programs like job assignements, training and mentoring, etc
? Leads the promotion process according to BV «Success Profile », implementing Assessment centers for the managerial talents pre-identified as ready to be promoted
3) Manage Leadership Pipeline
? Career Development Manager ensures leadership development of the Band IV through training implementation, including BV Academy sessions
? Follows the managerial talents through career check points and ensures that moves and speed of their career reflect the assessment of their potential
? Tracks level of engagement through exit interviews process and/or engagement surveys & make effective use of outcomes (corrective actions)
4) Implement and nourish the Company Culture
? Career Development Manager leads Induction, PMP and LR processes: implementation of processes and qualify control, education of managers and reporting for KPIs
? Career Development Manager’s duty is in addition to educate managers on the processes (the Why and the What) and feed-back to HR Corp about improvements/challenges/obstacles
5) Support the recruitment and selection process of the management trainees / young talents
Qualifications:
Academic Background
Bachelor degree in Training and Development, Human Resources, Management or related discipline, with Masters degree is preferable
Years of experience
Minimum 10 years HR or related working experience with 4 years hands-on design and facilitate ‘leadership and management training’, facilitation on experiential programs and stand-up delivery on leadership development programs; and experience in coaching and mentoring is highly preferrable.
Skills & Competences
1. Possess experience in organization development, talent management, developing diverse talents, learning practices with applications for supporting business objectives.
2. Strong track record of effective planning and execution of multi-discipline projects at all levels of the organization.
3. Good interpersonal skill and a good communicator with effective presentation skills.
4. Visible high standards of professionalism and integrity.
5. Proficiency in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese & Putonghua).
6. Certified Administrator in personality analysis tools such as MBTI, DiSC, SHL tools (preferable).
