Job Summary
Experienced C++/Java programmer with a BSCS or equivalent degree willing to join a fast pace, high energy team developing and sustaining enterprise level applications using C++/Java. ( Mastering Java and have experience with C++ ). The job mainly consists of troubleshooting customer issues and making hot fixes and also involves development of new features. The individual needs good organizational skills as well as good written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English.
Essential Functions
· Diagnose and Analyze customer reported product issues, identify the root cause and provide hot fixes for product defects.
· Provide expert level technical answers on the product for the inquiries from customers, technical support and other groups
· Design and implement customer requested features and combine them into the company complied code framework.
· Design, create tools facilitating the product deployment and diagnostics.
· Perform peer code reviews and provide feedback.
· Quickly learn new technologies and facilitate the troubleshooting of customer issues.
Qualifications:
· Education: BA/BS Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
· 2+ years of software development experience.
· Development experience in an enterprise-class system with multi-tier architecture.
· Experience of C/C++ development in a cross-platform environment.
· Development or Maintenance experience on high performance multi-threaded, distributed enterprise software development and maintenance
· Development or Maintenance experience on inter process communication protocols, such as RPC, SOAP, CORBA etc.
· Knowledge of Java development in a cross-platform environment.
· Experience with at least one J2EE Application Server Environment (e.g., WebLogic, WebSphere, Resin, JBoss, Tomcat)
· Solid English reading and writing skills; Good listening speaking is highly preferred.
· Good team work spirit and communication skills, and good learning capacity.
Desired:
· Experience on Linux based software development and troubleshooting
· Knowledge and Experience on general networking technologies, such as TCP/IP, socket programming and common networking protocols.
