职位描述

The main responsibility of this position is to lead, develop, and evaluate the financial information in order to support the China Brands Finance GM to make sound suggestions to China Brands management team of how to improve the business performance.

This role is accountable for Financing Planning & Profitability Analysis including monthly actual closings, quarterly LE, and yearly & 3 years Budgeting. The reportings covers the following (but not limited) : Brands performance, SKU performance, Distributor’s profitability, Key Account profitability, Channel PNL, Regional PNL, Inventory reporting, Secondary Sales weekly tracking, off-take tracking, weekly Sales performance, Gross Margin by product category, and support for Market data / Competitor’s performance analysis too.

This role is also anticipated to provide deep dive analysis to guide business decision making, through supporting Sales and Marketing team for A&P and GTN (rebate, TT, Trade promotion, and price-off promotion…) spend analysis, PG & sales force productivity analysis, Capital investment ROI, or new Business model support (such as BM). Support the Business Performance and Planning analysts to develop and provide insightful commercial analysis & KPI tracking that explains the Brands performance and thereby enables the analysts to provide robust challenge to the BU’s leadership team around performance.

This position is also responsible for the integration among multiple system platforms and user interfaces (such as HFM, SAP..) and to develop & implement the automation processes to collect the management data for supporting the Sales & marketing team as well as to seek for the improvement of predicable business performance, and improve the forecast accuracy for each LE submission.

Work with cross functional teams to explore opportunities on reporting enhancement activities, and to review with China Brands Finance GM & Management team on monthly business performance KPI & improvement activities. Be the go to person in the Headquarter for Central Reporting and provide the financial support to Sales, Marketing & trade marketing teams, Business Analysts and Supply Chain team for finance management advice.




Role accountabilities
Business Planning, Reporting & Analysis
– Work with the Business Performance and Planning Analysts to support the analysis of the 3 and 10 year business plans for the China Brands P&L aligning with overall CHINAI timeframes and requirements.
– Support the annual budget process for the China Brands P&L activities ensuring sign off with the BU GM as well as VP Greater China Brands.
– Support and analyze financial forecasting processes for the CHINA Brands P&L activities (monthly results, gross margin analysis by SKUs, KPI’s, insights, etc) and identify risks and opportunities in delivering the full year EBIT targets.
– Work and support Business Performance and Planning Manager to identify opportunities to improve the processes and analysis that ensures ‘best practice’ business performance management underpins the delivery of the designated BU strategic objectives.
– Work with sales team to analyze and understand secondary and primary sales as well as distributor’s performance analysis and ensure integration into monthly analysis
– Support the CHINA Brands finance team as a user for HFM, SAP, TPM and other systems.

Inventory Management and Distributor Agreements
– Work with sales and supply chain to monitor and understand the inventory levels and provide corrective action
– Work with Business Performance and Planning Analysts to review and control distributors rebates, trade margins with Sales Team and ensure they are correctly captured and claimed
– Maintain and understand the processes around rebates and GTN
Commercial Insight
– On a monthly basis, analyse CHINA Brands P&L results and drive reporting insights that enable the completion of CHINA Brands business report;
– As a key member of the CHINA Brands Finance team, contribute to deliver the strategic objectives through the proactive and collaborative provision of robust commercial analysis and data (historical, trend analysis, future projections etc.)
– As and when required, work with China Brands Finance Controller, Regional Finance controllers and Business performance officers to support, plan, drive and control the key strategic projects (internal investment, external acquisition and other partnerships etc) to achieve projects goals against planned resources and timelines. Work closely with various functional team and business team in Fonterra CHINAI and Fonterra global to ensure in-time quality execution.
