职位描述

Quality Manager

I – JOB IDENTIFICATION
GBU : Engineering Plastics
Unit : Industries
Positon Title: Quality Manager

II – KEY MISSIONS
Maintain ISO/TS16949 Quality management system
Manage product quality & customer complaint
Manage QC & plant lab team and supervise their daily activities
Be the WCM leader
III – MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
Manage our ISO/TS16949 quality system (audit & improve)
Manage customer complaints – quality answer in SMART, sample analysis, build action plan & follow-up, joined customer visit with sales or customer technical service (CTS)
Manage customer satisfaction survey
Manages QC lab team to ensure the internal quality check (Gage R&R incl.) and that control plans for both raw materials and finished goods are fully and well implemented
Manage HSE on his/her perimeter
Troubleshooting for potential quality issues
Organize jointly with the production team the plant quality inspections, the operators training, and control of the application of procedures in both plant and warehouse
Audit and evaluate with the purchasing team suppliers & subcontractors performance to help ensure a stable quality supply
Lead and monitor the Industrial Performance and quality Improvement plans on the site through quality tools (six sigma, WCM) and implement best practices
Coordinate the Operational Change Management process (OCM)
Participate to the global network of QC/QA managers within EP to share and implement best practices and new processes
V – KEY CHALLENGES
Coordination with different functions (?Need excellent listening & coordination ability).
Manage to change people’s mindset is a key challenge for the position (? Need to show a strong impact and influence behavior as well as good communication skills)

Bring the expertise of the quality ISO/TS norm
Develop strong QCA team.

- Asia Operations director/Plant Manager: Quality Management System procedures,
- Sales Dep.: customer voice/claim investigation
- Plant team/Process engineer: Monthly 5S and quality inspections, process audit in site , quality improvement/ process optimization
- R&T : industrial trials, new raw materials homologations, Gage R&R…
- Procurement & Accounting: Internal & external communication management
External contacts:
- Government office: update quality information
- Third party test agency: update training/audit information
- Customer: to listen to customer feedback and answer to claims
- Suppliers: for audit
VII – ORGANIZATIONAL FRAMEWORK
Hierarchically reports to the plant manager.
VIII – JOB SPECIFICATION
Bachelor or above
Fluent English – both in oral / writing
Major : Material science relative quality control and QA
At least 5 years plant operation management experience (production / QC /QA)
ISO/ TS audit certificate
Impact and influence (incl. good communication skills)
Fact based
Pragmatic
