Job description

GCG Channel Technical Sales team is supporting IBM Systems Middleware business growth through building up business partner ecosystem and providing technical enablement to business partners (ISVs and SIs) mainly in GCG (China Mainland, Hong Kong and Taiwan). IBM Systems Middleware is covering the application platform software for the full lifecycle of IT development and delivery, supporting digital experience, integration and process transformation.

This position is the technical professional in the team, and mainly work with the industrial leading business partners, provide technical supports including solution architecture design guidance, Proof of Concept, product skills enablement, training, troubleshooting, performance tuning, market event support and so on. There is much chance to innovate on partner cooperation model and technical innovation with partners.

This role will mainly support the products focusing on IT Service Management related solutions and IBM Tivoli products, including Operations Management, Performance Management, Automation and IT Analytics. Other products in IBM Systems Middleware will be also covered during the BP enablement including Application Platform, Integration, Smarter Process, Digital Experience related products (WebSphere, Rational, etc).

Required Skills:

Professional and technical skills:

‒ In depth technical skills on IBM Tivoli products and IT Service Management solutions.

‒ Good experience covering at least 2 portfolios in following areas: Performance Management (Monitoring, Application Performance Management/APM), Operations Management (Netcool Operations Insight, Business Service Manager, ITNM/Network Manager, TADDM), Automation (Workload Scheduler, System Automation, Control Desk) or IT Analytics(Log Analysis, Predictive Insights).

‒ Strong hands on technical skills are required including troubleshooting, performance tuning, etc.

‒ IBM Rational products skills (CC, CQ, RTC, etc) are a strong plus.

‒ IBM WebSphere skills (WAS, WMQ/WMB, BPM/WPS, etc) are a strong plus.

‒ System maintain & administration experience is a plus;

‒ Unix/AIX experience is a plus;

Soft skills:
