Position: Emission & Homologation

Division/Department: Research & Development
Location: Beijing


Your Responsibilities:

1. FBU homologation technical support to different brands of VW Group, focusing on emission / fuel consumption / Durability testing activities. Coordination with VGC departments and/or VW, Audi, Bentley, Lamborghini for FBU emission homologation in China. Organizing test lab resources and dealer service to ensure all tests smooth running and result delivery on time.
2. On-board Diagnostic (OBD) / In-used performance ratio (IUPR) verification test support for FBU homologation.
3. Support of In-used compliance (IUC) / Conformity of production (COP) issues from R&D perspective.
4. Support other powertrain related test, especially emission related on chassis dyno. Temporary assignment of activities in EA department.
5. Full documentation of performed process and tasks.

Our Requirements:

education:
? University degree of automotive/engine or mechanical engineering;
Master degree will be a strong plus.

Personal skills:
? Strong communication skills in international environment;
? Team player with proactive attitude;
? Knowledge and understanding of Chinese Emission standard and homologation process;
? Some OBD experience is strong preferred;
? Good computer skill with special testing software usage;
? Open-minded and flexible with frequent travel.
Working experience (in years):
? At least 3 years working experiences in car OEMs or related technical service entities.
? Experience with technical development or production of engines and transmissions are advantageous;
? Vehicle/engine testing or emission homologation highly promoted.

Remarks (Language, IT-Knowledge, Certificates etc.):
? Native Chinese speaker
? Fluent German speaking
? Familiar with MS-Office and other basic computer skill
? Experience of vehicle engineering tools, INCA/DiagRA…, preferred.
